Couldn't leave this comm out of the birthday wishes for Paul McGann! Here's hoping you're having a Very Happy 52nd Birthday, Paul! May the day give you many happy memories.

(I've been rereading all my LJ birthday posts for Paul during the years I've been at LJ. Interesting. Got quite carried away in 2007. Oh well, he's worth it! :) )

Happy Birthday, Paul! xo

Spotted this on Ebay the other day. Cute - in an unusual sort of way... At least they got the coat and hair colours right! Definitely will buy. I really appreciate these people who buy the multi-figure sets and sell the figures individually to people like me who have one-track minds. Really helps. :)

Discovered this today.

Butley Interview

Haven't seen the original Alan Bates film from 1974 in years, and all I remember from it was Alan's character bemoaning the fact that his character and his wife had named their daughter, Marina, and that, at about 8 or 9 months, all she wanted was for someone to put food to her mouth. That and one of my favourite lines of dialogue in all of movie history - "This conversation's beginning to sound as if it's been stitched together with song titles from the fifties.". Tha line cracks me up every time I hear it. I wonder if either of those two bits made to the stage version with Paul? *sigh* If only we were back home in London, I could see this. Rats. :)

I like whump (to a point), and there seems to be a lot of Doctor whump out there, but none of Eight and he seemed to be in the way of some nasties as well.

I would love a fic written, something that expands on the recovery period from the whole "Tractis Affair" (feel free to call it that too!) from Genocide, using both what was from that book and Charlie's flashbacks from Seeing I.

Also, anyone know of any good ones in that genre of fan fic?

Multi-era, mixed up companions, don't care.  I'm less into the torture aspect (the hurt) as I am the recovery aspect (the comfort).

I'm respond in kind one I'm done with The Legacy and a bunch of other fics because Eight is love, lol.

Thanks ahead of time for any help.
